Find the Halfling : participation game ?

West Coast Gamers in Cumbria are looking to set up a Wargame show near Penrith at Rheged. My plan is to run a participation game. Based on the battle of Amon Hen from the Lord of the Rings. This is the beauty of Dragon Rampant as the plan is to create a game which plays through in about 30 minutes. The participants will play as the Fellowship whilst I will play as Lurtz and the Uruk hai each game. I have all the figures although I plan to tidy up the painting and I have a few extra Uruk's to paint as well.

We played our first three test games a week or so ago, with some 'mock up' terrain. The objective is of course to get the four hobbits to the boats whilst protecting them with the heros of the fellowship. All three test games worked well, were close and exciting.

I plan to improve the terrain significantly and will post more in the future including the special rules for each hero.

Now this was really just to test the iPad again..........practice makes perfect đź’€

    2. Have you tried Pixlr? There's a free online version that I've used quite a lot and I believe the app is pretty good too (though I've not used it)

  2. I'll have to do a google search for information on that show, and pass on the information to Colonel Bills (unless he was told at Albanich).

I have to say I like the look of that terrain. Very nice, even in its sparsity.

Cheers for the table sizes for Dragon Rampant. The chaps who play near me are playing in 15mm, so I'm currently deciding whether to collect Dwarves or Human Japanese.
