German Heavy Armour : Operation Sealion

Quick update, whilst finishing the VBCW cavalry I had been throwing some paint at the German Armoured reinforcements picked up at Gateshead show. I find this a productive way to get stuff finished ! Anyway the Germans have now been able to land. Panzer IVD and a Panzerjager I to help them force their way off the beaches.
In true 'just in time' management style, the transfers were fitted at 17:30 and the armour rolled onto the battlefields of SE Kent at 19:00 yesterday evening. Will blog the results later....of the battle of Saltwood😀

By the way I noticed I am now up to 50 followers. I don't like to be too introspective.....the blog which has been running for 21 months was started mainly so I could put the photos I take somewhere. But Blogging has encouraged me to up my game in lots of respects, I have made new friends and the almost entirely positive feedback makes me feel all warm ! Like everybody else who blogs it has opened a whole new aspect of the hobby. Thank you for following 😀

    1. The Panzerjager is lovely .........but with out giving too much away its armour is not great 😡

  2. The blog has also given you recognition and the chance to put on games at shows, if I'm not mistaken.

Congratulations on both the blog score and paint jobs.
Though I still think there should be some British cavalry on camels! ;))

  7. I always think those early panzers had more personality than the later behemoths. Nice work, and congrats on reaching 50 followers.
