Sealion Reinforcements

Purchased these off a mate who is looking clearout some unused stuff. All I have had to do is redo the bases to match my other figures,  repaint the webbing to match and a little tidying up. Otherwise once I have sprinkled some grass they are good to go as reinforcements for the battalions on the frontline.
They are foundry home guard figures...and I have a few more. They may also boost the Royalist forces in future VBCW games. There is a bit of colour variation in uniforms which I prefer.

  1. I have a feeling that they are going to have their work cut out defending Old Blighty.

    1. Yep they look slightly underwhelming against the veteran Fallschirmjager

  2. Have you and Martin seen the new 'women VBCW' figures from Ironclad Miniatures?

There's also a 25% off sale at Newline Designs at the mo', who have some Boers on foot. I don't know what the company or figures are like, but thought I'd pass on the info.

  3. The Home Guard seem to be holding their own against the Hun so far...but some reinforcements won't hurt!

    1. Colour variation and variable uniform manufacture are a good thing in this period, I'm pretty relaxed about most historical accuracy, although sadly I have a British 17 pounder gun which looks great but I can't use it for 1940๐Ÿ™

  5. Reinforcements are always useful, and it's nice not to have to paint the figures.
