Bren Gun Carrier Section : Operation Sealion

After the festivities of Christmas and New Year it has taken a bit of time to settle back into things. These Carriers were a present  from Father Christmas easy to make and paint. Each is fitted with two light machine guns but they can also carry Boyes anti tank guns and mortars.
I got a bit bored trying to find the right markings so went with what looked right ? These have so many uses I expect they will be on the table quite a bit towing guns, transporting small infantry units to the action or acting as fire support. The are Warlord, picked up at a discount of £8.50 each. If you look carefully I have swopped a few arms and heads, and scrapped off the netting/camo off the helmets which didn't look right for my 1940 battles.
Here they are in action with Vickers Tanks 😀

    1. Thanks Simon.....we have been using bolt action edition 1 with a couple of tweaks. I use the British and german army handbooks to get the lists roughly equal. I find the rules fun and easy enough so we don't have to keep referring to them. These games are very much about the narrative and the campaign rather than the rules. Not played combat patrol so can't compare. Looking forward to the Sealion campaign book but not certain what it will add ?

    2. I presume it will be for the 'exotic' weaponry, i will get it just because it has Sealion in the title :)

Super useful vehicle , don't forget arm them with a Boys ATR and they can take out most Jerry armour of the period...

    1. Thanks ....I have since construction realised my mistake (which I can rectify) as I stuck the additional Bren guns on all three models at some point I'll modify them so they can carry other weaponry. School boy error 😩
