Prussians Regiment No 1 : Von Winterfeldt
Also this week I have completed the British Honey’s these are plastic soldier company models and were a bit of a pain to put together, I have deliberately made them slightly lighter to give some variation on the battlefield.
Finally, the box comes with lots of spare bits so I thought I would make a brewed up tank, it seems fairly effective so may dig out the other bits
Little and often is the aim and I feel I am making progress 👍
Matt
Excellent work! Painting in short sessions, often, is the way toward fielding large armies.
ReplyDeleteTHATS what I do wrong! I get long paint sessions sporadically.
DeleteVery nice Matt, that's more than I have managed to paint recently! I was surprised the PSC kits were a hassle as I have had a couple of theirs...German and British Halftracks .... and I thought they were great, only eight to twelve parts each. The Honeys are smaller tanks though I guess. The brewed up wreck is really cool!
ReplyDeleteThe PSC instructions were actually incorrect, if I get round to it I will email them. But the tracks didn’t actually fit that well.
DeleteExcellent work! Love the wounded tank!
ReplyDeleteThanks Michal 👍
DeleteGrand painting progress all round there Matt, though my favourite is the brewed up tank vignette.
ReplyDeleteThanks David, the rest of the bits I have left over are now to be converted into some ‘kangaroo’ transports
DeleteGreat work there Matt. Little and often is a great approach for sure, but this year a bad back followed by a cold has put pay to any painting. I hope to get back to it in the next day or two...
ReplyDeleteThanks Steve hope the back improves, I know how it feels when mine is sore !
DeleteI like the look of those Prussians
ReplyDeleteThanks Neil one more unit ticked off 👍
DeleteFine progress on various fronts Matt. The brewed M3 is of particular note 👍
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil, the rest of the bits are going to get used trying to make some transports I think 👍
DeleteNice Matt, especially the brewed up tank. My own painting is taking a back seat at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThanks George I’m just keeping on reducing the mountain
DeleteAgree, the brewed Honey from spares is inspired.
ReplyDeleteThanks Norm, I know discover I can probably cobble together some transports so will try a few of those
DeleteLovely Prussians and I am thoroughly enjoying seeing this British force come together.
ReplyDeleteThanks Lawrence….hopefully a battle at some stage in the near future
DeleteTop stuff Matt…
ReplyDeleteProgress on a number of fronts…
All the best. Aly
Thanks Aly 👍
DeleteBlown up tank is ace. 😀
ReplyDeleteThanks stew 👍
DeleteLittle and often is clearly the way! Great work
ReplyDeleteThanks Matt one of the benefits of stopping paid employment 👍
DeleteLooks like good progress to me!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dave just working away at my own little mountain 👍
