I got a bit bored trying to find the right markings so went with what looked right ? These have so many uses I expect they will be on the table quite a bit towing guns, transporting small infantry units to the action or acting as fire support. The are Warlord, picked up at a discount of £8.50 each. If you look carefully I have swopped a few arms and heads, and scrapped off the netting/camo off the helmets which didn't look right for my 1940 battles.
Here they are in action with Vickers Tanks 😀
They look brilliant. Look forward to seeing them help push the Boche back into the Channel!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gordon....not sure they can win the war on there own but we'll see 😀
DeleteVery nice matt, can i ask though, what rules are you using for your Sealion Campaign, im torn on waiting for the Bolt Action Book or using Combat Patrol
ReplyDeleteThanks Simon.....we have been using bolt action edition 1 with a couple of tweaks. I use the British and german army handbooks to get the lists roughly equal. I find the rules fun and easy enough so we don't have to keep referring to them. These games are very much about the narrative and the campaign rather than the rules. Not played combat patrol so can't compare. Looking forward to the Sealion campaign book but not certain what it will add ?
DeleteI presume it will be for the 'exotic' weaponry, i will get it just because it has Sealion in the title :)
DeleteMe too I'm sure I'll be getting it....
DeleteThey are great. Look forward to playing or killing them
ReplyDeleteThanks hopefully they we see a battle this evening
DeleteVery nice. Is the chap in the back of one of them keeping a look out for parachuting nuns?
ReplyDeleteNo if you look carefully he is looking forward for the rumoured German armoured camel corps.......
DeleteNice job on those Matt, look forward to seeing them help give the Hun a damn good thrashing.
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil...not sure who I'll be supporting though 🤔
DeleteVery nice job, they look great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Phil
DeleteNicely done! I do like the Carriers, they're a great maid-of-all-work for the tabletop battlefield.
ReplyDeleteYep I can see them getting quite a lot of table time 😀Transport, fire support or just towing guns around
DeleteExcellent stuff Matt! I need to get myself some of these.
ReplyDeleteNice models obviously Warlord aren't to only manufacturer....
DeleteThese look great Matt, lovely work Sir.
ReplyDeleteThank you 😀
DeleteFine additions to the forces for Sealion!
ReplyDeleteThanks David they are racing to the front line .......😀
DeleteGreat looking UC's! Nice subtle weathering.
ReplyDeleteSuper useful vehicle , don't forget arm them with a Boys ATR and they can take out most Jerry armour of the period...
Thanks ....I have since construction realised my mistake (which I can rectify) as I stuck the additional Bren guns on all three models at some point I'll modify them so they can carry other weaponry. School boy error 😩
