Secondly I wanted a slightly more impressive Spartan general, so rebased a couple of figures together with the kneeling guy who hadn't really found a home till now.

Matilda II and Spartan Generals
Just seem to be rushing around at the moment, as usual I am behind on blogs but am continuing to churn stuff out. First up a Matilda II tank destined for VBCW and Operation Sealion. I have checked out wiki and they can just fit into VBCW as long as I call it a prototype they didn't really go into production till about 1940.
Secondly I wanted a slightly more impressive Spartan general, so rebased a couple of figures together with the kneeling guy who hadn't really found a home till now.
Lots of other stuff in the pipeline.........

Love the Spartans. Been thinking about tanks as I have a lot of armoured cars but no tanks. The matilda look great, I've been looking at renault ft.
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a bit of a squeeze for VBCW but fine for everything else.
DeleteAn impressive coupling Matt, I particularly like the prototype.
ReplyDeleteThanks should be able to get the Matilda on the table this weekend
DeleteGreat stuff...especially the Spartans!
ReplyDeleteThanks easy to paint as it is mainly red !
DeleteNicely done. I like the Spartan group, the three figures work well together as a grouping.
ReplyDeleteI nearly bought some Italian CV35 tanks at Partizan ... Possibly would have ended up as VBCW ... More than likely would never been played with, however. Luckily, common sense prevailed and I didn't buy them. Though there's always next time. Or I'll end up with a Pz. 1 or a Renault FT.17 :D
Common sense...? I do feel 28mm tanks are a bit expensive but I am gradually building my collection..I do need some more Panzers for Op Sealion later in the year though.
DeleteNicely done, all.
ReplyDeleteThanks A J
