So having committed in public to getting on with my Arabs I have no choice ! In between preparing more Sealion and VBCW stuff I put on the radio and cracked on with the first stage. These are Black Tree figures all bought as an incredibly cheap deal at a show. But they needed som prep and it has taken I would guess 5 or 6 hours to get to this stage. For me this is the worst bit with metals......but I am happy and they are nice figures with reasonable variety which is helped by the various shield options.
I'll be keeping most of them fairly generic and will be looking to play them in various guises for C&C, Lion Rampant and we might see a few turn up in Zanzibar !
Excellent, I have loads of Arab types prepped for the winter. Off to make hills today
ReplyDeleteThe challenge is deciding how to paint them, I have seen so many lovely figures recently but the more complex the scheme the harder......mine might be quite plain ! We'll see....I'm going to do one unit lol Black so they at least should be easy.
DeleteLokk forward to seeing them all finished up!
ReplyDeleteDONT hold your breadth 😀
DeleteThat's an impressive looking force, best of luck with them.
ReplyDeletePainting them is not quite at the top of the list, I have some more Fallschirmjager to paint up first
DeleteThey'll be painted next week then Matt?
ReplyDeleteLaugh out loud ! I'm not even trying to think about the paint que at the moment 😀
DeleteAn impressive array there! They'll look spectacular painted up.
ReplyDeletePlease don't hold your breadth 😬
DeleteThey look fun, nice and chunky I look forward to seeing them painted, I won't hold my breath! I have been warned!
ReplyDeleteBest Iain
A few bits higher on the paint list.....at the moment.
DeleteGood looking batch of BTD Arabs waiting for paint. BTD's Warriors of Islam line is one of my favorites. Have fun!
