The Vikings invade Again : SAGA
Had a chance this evening for a quick game of SAGA introducing a new player. SAGA has since it came out one of my favourite games and this has fired me to jolly well get on and paint my Arab faction up. Watch this space.....there now I have told everybody I must do it 😀
Anyway here are a couple of photos of a very enjoyable game.
As expected much of the fighting took place in the centre, the Saxon levy managing to get a few rounds of shooting in before beating a retreat
The Viking warlord managed to get himself isolated and killed but we continued until the last Norse men decided to make a run for the boats😀

DeleteGreat looking game, I like the pens, but all good. I bought saga and dux bellorum and lots of dark age types and I have to say I've failed in this area, lion rampant came along and it all went a bit late medieval, but looking at your game does tempt me!

Of course you can use LR with dark age figures. I have found the secret is keep painting and then you can use both rulesets which both have advantages, thanks for looking😀
