With our next AWI game planned for this weekend I needed a few more Colonial militia.
Here they are a mixed bunch, I had a few figures already made up so simply painted fairly random colour schemes as these are to play as irregular militia.
They are on skirmish bases to compliment our current Rebels and Patriots games, but I had one eye on them combining with the other skirmishers I have to make a ‘unit’ so here they are lined up and obviously they have two different flags they can use.they are a bit spread out but that might reflect their poor training and they will work fine in a larger game.
Finally a shot of the farm and set up for this weekend.I won’t give too much away as it is Jonathan’s Scenario but looks like the farmer has been out with his spade ?
Hope you are all well 👍 also hoping to get the Battle of Talavera played this evening.
Fantastic work sir!

Your American militia and game layout are terrific, Matt! Looking forward to Sunday's clash.
ReplyDeletemore nice work
ReplyDeleteThe militia certainly look the part Matt...
ReplyDeleteI like the farm... it looks nice and tranquil... for the moment anyway.
All the best. Aly
Fine additions Matt, look forward to seeing christened in battle.
ReplyDeleteVery nice, they look suitably irregular for militia
ReplyDeleteVery nicely done and a good idea to have them as multipurpose for larger games too. The game layout looks very nice too - look forward to reading about it on your and Jonathans blogs!
ReplyDeleteVery nice figures Matt and a neat idea to have them on sabot bases for use in bigger games. The black and yellow flag is particularly striking:). Looking forward to the AAR of your game with Jonathan, ditto Talavera if you get the game in as planned.
ReplyDeleteNice work Matt, great to see how planned games lead to extra figures...
ReplyDeleteCheers
Stu
Very fine additions to the collection there Matt, but beware 'new figure' syndrome...
ReplyDeleteGreat looking Colonial troops, Matt. One of the main reasons I've shied away from AWI is the wide variety of "uniforms" the Americans wore. You've captured their irregular look perfectly.
ReplyDeleteGreat looking irregular militia and a lovely looking farm,at peace for the moment!

The syllabus is one of the most important tools that help in knowing the course description It gives a framework for both students and teachers. It helps the students to develop efficient learning strategies and, PSEB 6th Class Textbook also, to plan their studies accordingly. It serves as a resourceful means to lay out expectations from a student providing a ground plan of the curriculum.
