Posting comments problems ?

Just wanted to let everybody know that I am having problems posting comments on other peoples blogs, I have no idea how to fix it but it may have been happening for a while. If you thought I had disappeared I’m still here and still commenting on your wonderful posts but it appears they are not appearing ?

Any answers then please let me know

Matt

  1. Hi Matt, I randomly get an error message when posting on blogs, but if I have 4 attempts, it goes through on that fourth attempt.

No idea why and it even happens when I try to comment on my own blog.

Oddly it was doing it some months ago and the fully stopped, but last few days has seen the problem return.

It must be a software / settings / google issue. Anyway might be worth having 4 goes and see if that works.

  2. Hey Matt. Your comments to my blog today went through but were dumped into SPAM. They have been retrieved and published.

  4. If you are using an IOS device I find I need to allow cross site trackcking in Safari to get comments to go through

  5. There are so many little quirks that appear in Blogger from time to time, just to keep things entertaining.

  6. As others have said, you can randomly have problems trying to post, despite repeated attempts. JBM for example always appears in my Spam folder, others on and off for no rhyme nor reason. I always check the comments folder on Blogger just in case, because sometimes replies appear in there, but not my e-mail for verification.

  7. Most modern browsers now block third-party cookies by default which causes knock-on effects such as this. Disabling that privacy feature on a site-by-site basis is the solution. I should post a tutorial on my blog since I'm of the nerdy persuasion.

  8. Oh yeeees! Your post is in spam folder at my blogger! But why? Maybe when you are commenting more blogs in one time ( in a few minute f.e.) google AI think you are a spam? Really dont know.

  11. Bloody Hell! Having just reread this, I figured out how to check my "spam" on Blogger - 167 going back to 2017 and virtually NONE of them are actually spam at all - going through releasing them all now!
