North Cumberland Women's Auxiliary and a Policeman

As the British civil war has taken hold the women of North Cumberland being of hardy stock have also formed themselves into armed auxiliary and militia units. After all it is, their country too, formed from the local WI branches and using borrowed weapons they have set about training themselves. As yet unproven in full battle it would be a brave man who expected these girls to cook his dinner or do the washing up.
Mainly they are armed with borrowed rifles but do occasionally field the odd Lewis gun. If you are interested they are ironclad minatures, not the best but serviceable.
This chap was picked out of a bits box at a show somewhere and I immediately thought he would make a good police artillery man.

    1. I know exactly what you mean ! I have had a chat with the guy at various shows...some of his stuff is really great ...I guess it comes down to the sculptor. My own personal favourite are the Woodbine VBCW figures which are exceptional but they need a bigger range.
