Our cottage overlooked the only remaining fish smokery , so we had fresh smoked kippers for breakfast
On our way back we visited Wallsend, Segedunum the fort at the far end of Hadrian’s wall in Newcastle

ReplyDeleteNo we were staying in Seahouses, which according to wiki, was where they first discovered the smoked Kipper ! They were as to be expected very nice indeed, we have been to Craster in the past.....bit like a kipper tour ?
