American Adventure One

After a wet start in Manchester, a long flight, two hours security checks and getting lost driving out of the airport my American Civil War Adventure has begun. As my first battlefield I made it to Harper's Ferry on the Potomac.

 

This shot was just one of the many info boards which adorn the battle field.

These, my first cannons of the trip mark the Union artillery line on Bolivar Ridge.
